4. Do you offer packing services, and how much do they cost?

6. How far in advance should I book the removal service?
Booking several weeks in advance secures your desired date. However we do work with you if it is a last minute request.

We use protective padding, blankets, and secure loading techniques. Our crew are experienced in export professional packing services and everything is industry standard.
11. Can you provide packing materials and boxes, and are they included in the cost?
Yes, we offer materials, and their cost can be included in your estimate if you book with us.
12. Is there anything I need to do to prepare for the removal service?

Sometimes a 4 bed house can take 3 days for a pack and load, so this really depends on your volume of items.

What is the FIDI Anti-Trust Charter?

The rule of thumb for sizing up moves is the following

Allow a box for each large drawer
Kitchen
Allow one box for every full kitchen cupboard
Quantify the number of books 30-40 average sized books fills one box and list the furniture item

30-40 average/novel sized books fills one pack 1 box

List out your furniture, soft furnishings and toys for each room that you want to bring with you - your removal company will be able to help you volumize for shipping
Air Freight prices are based on packed weight and size
Sea Shipments are based on size of shipment
Groupage is based on volume of shipment
How far in advance of my house move should I book?
The best time to do this is as soon as possible! Oman BeverlySmyth will try to accommodate dates requested from our clients. Our diary fills up very quickly so it is good to have your move date in mind when having your survey carried out.
What does Oman Beverly Smyth include in their quotes?
Once one of our team helps to determine your volume; a local or national move includes cost of uplift crew, vehicles, packing materials and delivery to residence. Transit insurance is an additional cost and will be discussed before the move takes place with one of our qualified reps.
How do you calculate the cost of our move?
Generally if your moving with in Ireland your cost is based on volume. The amount of items and space it takes up in a vehicle. The volume determines the size of vehicle used and number of crew needed to pack, uplift and move your goods from point to point.
When should I arrange a quotation?
Give yourself plenty of time to arrange for one of our reps to either come and visit you in your home or do a video call to carry out a survey. We need to know the volume of your items and a survey will help to determine this. You will need to have this done some weeks in advance of your move!
